I've been testing MQTT with another service and wondering about whether or not there are advantages of MQTT over an API POST for pushing data to GroveStreams. If so, is it in the roadmap?

It's on the road map, but we're waiting for someone to request it before we dedicate resources to it. So far, no one has requested it. CoAp is another protocol. There are some advantages. Search the web for "advantages of mqtt over http" |

We recently started using MQTT in a lot of our products. It would be nice to be able to use it with GS too.

Which MQTT features would you like to see in GS?

I think my desire is simply to have GS accept metric postings via MQTT message. I don't have any need for other API needs at all. |

Mike, The request I had was similar to Jeppedy. MOXA was asking if the MQTT client was available on the receiving side (Grovestreams) to accept the data using this communication protocol. |
